Sephora Lash Stash Review

I'm sure all of you know about the fabulous lash kits that Sephora releases around the holidays.  For those of you that don't, you won't want to miss out!  The new Sephora Lash Stash kit arrived at Sephora a few weeks ago and debuted at $45.  It contains eleven products; ten mascaras, and a set of false lashes.  The sales associate told me it contained three "full size" products; she must have been counting the lashes, because only two of the mascaras fit that bill.  Regardless, this is a great deal!  I buy this every year, and the mascara is enough to sustain me for almost the full year.  By then it's time to buy the new one!  I have pictures of each individual product and the wands in no particular order.  I'll also be including my opinion of each one.  This post is a bit long, so hold onto your hats!

NYC Waterproof Eyeliners: The Only Ones You'll Ever Need!

I love love love these eyeliners!  I have tried every liner under the sun.  High end, low end, you name it.  If you're surprised to hear that a three dollar eyeliner can be this well loved, so was I when I stumbled upon them.  My Urban Decay 24/7 liner in zero, which was my favorite at the time was running low and I needed a new black liner.  These happened to be the only ones that the grocery store I was at carried, so I gave them a try.  I was blown away!  They last from the time you put your makeup on until the end of your day.  They're super pigmented and are extremely creamy.  I would say these are more on the side of an eye kohl than a traditional pencil.  I love these in the waterline.  The fact that they're waterproof makes them perfect for that purpose.  I will buy these again and again over the top name brand any day.  Let me show you some pictures of the ones that I own!

Smokey Plum, Mink, Teal, Black, Dark Brown

Here are the swatches in the same order as listed above.

Here are two of the Urban Decay 24/7 Liners in Perversion on the Left and Zero on the right with the NYC black in the middle.

Here are the swatches in the same order.  Isn't it crazy how much darker this one is than Zero??  It may look slightly less dark than Perversion, but in person the difference is negligible.  I actually think it has more staying power than Perversion, which if you've ever used that pencil is saying something!  What about any of you?  Do you have these pencils?  Do you love them too?

A Love Letter to the Revlon Lip Butters

I know that these aren't new, or unheard of.  In fact, they have gained plenty of popularity since their release.  And I have to say, all the hype is completely justified!  I love these babies.  They are very hydrating, shiny, and pack plenty of color for something you pay six or seven dollars for at the drug store.  I have eleven of these suckers, and photographed ten.  Shade 20, Brown Sugar is not posted because it's all but empty, and doesn't swatch very well.  It is a very deep brown shade, and is much too dark for me to wear during the day!  I instead put it on before bed because it is so hydrating.  I figured I paid for it, I might as well find a use for it.  Turns out, it is excellent overnight! Here they are all lined up, with swatches to boot!

All ten, just waiting to be worn!

001 Pink Truffle, 005 Sugar Frosting, 025 Peach Parfait

047 Pink Lemonade, 050 Berry Smoothie, 055 Cupcake

065 Creamsicle, 080 Strawberry Smoothie, 085 Sugar Plum, 095 Creme Brulee

Here are all of them swatched in natural lighting.

L to R, Pink Truffle, Sugar Frosting, Peach Parfait, Pink Lemonade, Berry Smoothie, Cupcake, Creamsicle, Strawberry Smoothie, Sugar Plum, Creme Brulee

I would have to say that my favorites are Pink Truffle, Sugar Plum, and Berry Smoothie.  I know that those are the darkest colors that I have, but they're just perfect for fall!  They have a little bit of shimmer, but Peach Parfait is the only one with actual pieces of glitter.  If you don't have any of these, I would highly recommend picking them up.  Anybody have these?  If so what are YOUR favorites??
