I never knew I was artistic! I come from a long line of artistic family members, and always thought I was sort of a lame duck in that department. Turns out makeup was the art I was searching for. The blend of colors, and textures; the brushes and products, all placed on the canvas of the human face! While makeup may seem frivolous and unimportant to some, I think that it's one of the basic expressions of self that has been used for thousands of years.
I am self taught, and don't do makeup artistry for a living. I run a small non makeup related business with my husband. Makeup for me is more of a hobby, and something that I do to relax. When I have a brush in my hand the world goes quiet and I can focus solely on textures and colors, while drowning out the noise of the world. Whether you are new to makeup, or a long time lover, I hope that you can find some useful information in my blog and just have fun with me! My blog is fairly new, and I'm about to be moving, so I'd love to eventually have posts about home decor and such. Interior decorating is another great way to express yourself!
