Bite Beauty Fig Dupe!

Whether you're a veteran makeup lover like me, or new to the world of beauty, chances are you know what dupes are.  Dupes are low cost alternatives to the high priced cosmetics that we all love!  There's nothing more exciting than finding a dupe for something; either at your drugstore, or in your own collection.  I recently went to Sephora and picked up one of the Bite Beauty lipsticks in the shade Fig.  It's a gorgeous classic pink that looks great on my fair skin.  It's hard to wear some of those darker pink shades for me, but this one is gorgeous!

Here is a swatch of Fig in natural light and the packaging...

And the Covergirl...

There's a little bit of glare on the Covergirl, but they look EXACTLY the same on the lips.  I've also taken a picture of them side by side.

In the picture the Fig seems to be just slightly lighter, but once you wear them there is absolutely no difference.  They both wear for about five hours, have a subtle sheen to them, and don't have any odor or taste.  I actually think that the Covergirl is a little bit more comfortable to wear.

If you're thinking about picking up Fig, then maybe check out the Covergirl dupe first and save yourself eighteen dollars.  The Bite Beauty retails for 24 dollars, and the Covergirl is only six!

I don't know about you, but I'm always down for a new dupe!  I have found many dupes for high end eyeshadows, lipsticks, primers, you name it!  What about you?  Have you stumbled upon any new dupes lately?  Stay warm out there!
